Whew. So I finished Something, Maybe, and I've just gotta say that I love teen novels. I love how lighthearted and, well, carefree they are. Obviously, not all of them are carefree, which is proven with my latest novel, Wintergirls by Laurie Halse Anderson. Yes, the author of Speak, which is an insanely good novel, so I'm looking forward to this one. Unlike Speak, though, the main character in Wintergirls seems slightly unbalanced.
I got laid off of my job today. I was expecting it, of course. They hire seasonally, so when the season ends, they get rid of the extra workers. There were 10 people let go before me, so I at least know they liked me enough to keep me around for an extra week. But now I realize how much money I won't be making, and it's kinda disappointing. Oh well.
On the bright side, I'm going to visit my boyfriend again next week from Monday to Thursday. That's only 4 days. I'm so excited! I really can't wait to see him!
This is random, but if you've ever seen the movie He's Just Not That Into You, you will remember Dan the Wiccan. (If you haven't seen it, you really need to, because it's awesome.) Well, he's in a Progressive commercial, so everytime I see him, I think, "It's Dan the Wiccan!" It's a little sad, but I like it.
